I’m not one for inspiring New Year’s speeches or for making resolutions so here’s a random photo review of 2012:

It snowed in Toulon. So not funny.

My mom and sister came to visit. We had Lebanese.

In March I discovered I really needed a new pair of running shoes.

Socca in April. Easy, filling, adaptable, Provencal.

Tomatoes Provencal in May. I get excited over stuffed vegetables.

We went back to the Atelier du Vigneron in June.

I visited Angers for the first time, but couldn’t officially say why.

Fig and Camembert Pie. I’m waiting impatiently for my favorite fruit to return.

I moved to Angers at the end of August.

And things got a little crazy from there….

October came and I finally made a fricassé. Of rabbit. It was yummy.

My husband and I visited the Cointreau Distillery and got drunk at 10am on a Saturday.

Angers’s festive Marché de Noel got me into the holiday season and distracted me from my studies.

I indulged in cheese over Christmas break. Lots and lots and lots of cheese.
Happy New Year and thank you for supporting me, my adventures, and Je Mange Toute la France!
I hope you found some new running shoes
Happy New Year Holly!
